cold-blooded or unaware

I could act like there’s no coming back
I’ll make it strange for us both or even worse than that
I might actually hide or ring the fire alarm
or blend in with your least favorite plant
crippling amount of self-doubt through tongue-in-cheek cover-ups
it’s a total conundrum, someone please punch my gut
